QHow do I become a member?
AYou can become a member if you are in our field of membership. You will need to complete an account card and make a $25.00 deposit to open a savings account. Your $25.00 deposit is your membership share in the credit union. It makes you a member/owner of the credit union and allows you to use the services of the credit union. In the future if you decide to close your account, the $25.00 is returned to you as long as you have no outstanding account balances or fees due to the credit union.
QHow many locations do you have?
AWe have 8 office locations. Our Main Office is located in Fort Dodge. Our branch offices are located in Algona, Belmond, Estherville, Lake Mills, Spirit Lake, Storm Lake, and at the Hy-Vee store in Fort Dodge.
QIs my savings at the credit union insured?
AYour savings is federally insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government.

QHow often do your rates change?
AWe regularly review both savings and loan rates. They are changed periodically as necessary.
QHow do I apply for a loan?
AYou may apply for a loan in person or by telephone at any of our office locations. In addition, you may apply online either on our website or through Online Banking.
QWhat do I do if I lose my checkbook?
APlease contact any of our office locations as soon as possible. You will need a list of the number of checks left in the book so a "Stop Payment" can be placed. There is a fee for this service.
QHow do I get a copy of one of my checks?
ACopies of checks are available on our Online Banking site at no charge. You may also contact any of our office locations. You will need to know the check number, the amount of the check, and when it cleared your account. There is a fee for this service.
QHow do I put a stop payment on one of my checks?
APlease contact any of our office locations. You will need to know the check number, the amount of the check, and the name of the payee on the check. There is a fee for this service.
QHow do I know how much I can spend with my Citizens VISA® Debit Card?
AThe amount you can spend is the balance of your checking account less any outstanding transactions.
QWhat do I do if I lose my Citizens VISA® Debit Card?
AIf your Citizens VISA® Debit Card is lost or stolen, please contact your local branch or call (515) 955-5524 - Option 4.
QWhat do I do if I forget my PIN for my Citizens VISA® Debit Card or want to change it?
